When he’s not acting, Franco is an award-winning filmmaker. His directorial debut, a short film titled “Ni Aquí Ni Allá” is currently on its festival circuit and is demonstrating how diverse stories can profoundly resonate with audiences all over the world.

FINDING STILLNESS
“Finding Stillness” is an award winning travel film set in the magical landscape of Iceland. After 2 years in the pandemic, this film captures the emotional catharsis that happens when you explore a new place. Iceland is a country that has so much to offer and through exploration, there’s inspiration.
CYBOLICA
Directed by Alex Greenlee, Cybolica is a dystopian story that explores a message behind the real dehumanization of juveniles who are incarcerated in a system that does nothing to rehabilitate them. Franco wrote the screenplay for the short that is currently streaming on DUST and together with Alex, they have developed a TV show that expands on this universe in a way that hasn’t been seen yet.
